Job description
Machine Operator ILocation: Coventry, RI 02816 Duration: 6months W2 contract with high possibility of extension based on performance and depending on business needs Shift Timing: 1st shift is 7am - 7pm ET - 4 days one week, 3 days next, etc. evening shift is 7pm - 7am - 4 days one week, 3 days next, etc. Pay Rate: 1st shift PAY RATE:$22 Eve shift PAY RATE: $25.25/Hour on W2 Must be flexible for the 1st week of training, and available to train daytime, core hours.Description:Duties include safe operation of processing equipment in accordance with operating regulations and procedures and assuring proper care of customer product. Places and retrieves sterile, test or biological sampling devices to monitor appropriate processing levels. May assist in the direction and support of Material handler activities.Key Responsibilities•Protects product by assuring proper processing and handling according to operating procedures; monitors process cycles and control systems to ensure operation within quality, regulatory and company specifications; reviews and completes all appropriate documentation. •Minimizes downtime by monitoring processing operation and associated equipment as scheduled; conduct minor equipment repairs and refer major repairs to shift supervision or maintenance personnel. •Maintains a safe and clean working environment by monitoring environmental control systems and inspecting equipment for unsafe conditions and reporting to supervision as required; generates maintenance work orders for repairs; responds to process and equipment alarm conditions and acting within operational and safety guidelines; conducts assigned housekeeping on a daily basis. •Contributes to accuracy of processing and product accountability by maintaining product documentation; implements appropriate corrective action as needed; places and retrieves product monitoring devices per processing specification. •May assist in the maintaining product inventory by receiving, identifying, labeling if appropriate, and storing product within the Shipping and Receiving area. •Maintains and advances technical skills, knowledge and abilities by assigned training. •Works in a safe manner and considers safety in all aspects of job.Quality System RequirementsIn all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.Required ExperienceHS Diploma or GED diploma required 1 year of experience highly preferred Good team player must have reliable transportation
