Job description
Machine Operator IMachine Operator I sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Uses computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.Basic operation of simple machinery and equipment, such as presses, lathes, or cutters. Ability to follow standardized procedures for setting up and operating machines. Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machines. Familiarity with reading simple work orders or production instructions. Producing and ensuring product meets or exceeds established product specifications. Attention to detail to ensure machine operation is accurate and products meet basic quality standards. Basic problem-solving ability to identify and report machine malfunctions.
