Machine Operator IThe person hired for the position of Machine Operator I will work at our 3M Aearo Technologies Newark Delaware site. As a Machine Operator I you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Operator Hydraulic Die Cutting Press.Pulling, packing and labeling orders per established procedures & customer requirements.Process orders and inventory paperwork according to established procedures.Operate Atom Flash Cutter.To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications.Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing or production environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:3 to 5 years in a manufacturing or production environment1 to 2 years operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environmentProven troubleshooting skillsAbility to read measurement tools in metric format such as rulers, tape measure, and drop gauge.Applicants who meet the basic qualifications above will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process. Please note that applicants must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with 3M.
