Job TitlePay Range: $23.90hr - $28.90hrRequirement/Must HaveExperience with CNC machining, grinding, milling, or multi-axis equipment.Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills.Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.Experience with multi-axis machining, including 5-axis grinding and 3-axis milling.Ability to use precision measuring instruments to tight tolerances.Knowledge of machine set up and adjustment.Ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously based on cycle time.Successful completion of written tests and audits to obtain certified operator (CO) stamp.Completion of lock out/tag out training.Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as assigned.Ability to maintain acceptable attendance.High School Diploma or GED.ResponsibilitiesSet-up, operate, and maintain at least one process machine such as a rotary or surface grinder.Perform machine set-up and wheel changes within standard set-up times.Maintain all quality and production records including tooling calibration and daily walk-arounds.Maintain productivity, utilization, schedule, and quality records in compliance with standards.Perform inspection of non-certified operators.Assist with training of Machine Trainees as required.Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) duties.Maintain 6S and other area housekeeping standards.Execute clean-up shift procedures.Maintain visual control boards and hour-by-hour charts.Participate and actively promote continuous improvement activities.Follow policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.Actively participate, promote, and comply with all Quality and EH&S programs and policies.Nice to HaveAerospace manufacturing experience.Experience with precision grinding and milling machines.SkillsCNC Machining.5-axis Grinding.3-axis Milling.Blueprint Reading.Precision Measuring Instruments.Machine Set-up.Troubleshooting.6S Methodology.TPM.Lock Out/Tag Out.Qualification And Education3-5 years of related machining experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong mechanical aptitude.Strong work history.
