Machine Operator III(-Manual Lathe)Grand Island, NE 68803Job DescriptionMachine Operator Become a key part of a high-performing team in Grand Island, NE as a Machine Operator — where you'll run essential equipment to process custom pipe and metal parts with precision, supporting the critical needs of industrial clients. Job Duties: Start and stop the machine safely without supervision. Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) Place raw material or unfinished parts and remove finished parts from machine safely. Monitor machine operation. Check part quality with designated measurement instruments. Understand when and how to stop machine safely. Perform basic maintenance tasks on machinery, such as cleaning and lubrication. Operate tools and machinery to aid the manufacturing process. Perform periodic checks on equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Oversee the machine while executing tasks and make necessary adjustments to improve results. Produce quality parts according to manufacturing targets and schedules as directed by the Plant Manager. Record all machine actions and log completed parts for record keeping. Read and understand drawings. Change machine Setting to accommodate different sizes and dimensions. Pay: $18.00 Shift: 1st
