Job description
Production Associate / Press OperatorWe are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a Production Associate / Press Operator. In this role, you will operate mechanical presses to install rubber tubing onto metal pipe connectors used in various industrial applications. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to start a career in manufacturing, as no prior experience is required and full training is provided.ResponsibilitiesOperate small, medium, and large mechanical presses.Install rubber tubing onto metal pipe connectors.Load and unload materials as part of the production process.Use basic hand tools and production equipment safely.Operate an overhead crane or forklift when working in designated areas (training provided as needed).Perform general labor and material handling duties.Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow all safety policies and procedures.QualificationsRequiredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.Comfortable performing physical labor and standing for extended periods.Strong attendance and reliability.Willingness to learn and work independently.Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.PreferredPrevious manufacturing or general labor experience.Experience operating forklifts, cranes, machines, or production equipment.Familiarity with basic hand tools.Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.Shift Information1st ShiftMonday - Friday6:30 AM - 3:00 PM2nd ShiftMonday - Thursday3:30 PM - 2:00 AMOne unpaid 30-minute breakTwo paid 15-minute breaksBenefits & PerksMedical, Dental & Vision Benefits401(k) Retirement PlanLife Insurance OptionsShort-Term & Long-Term Disability CoverageEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Time Off (eligibility requirements apply)Opportunity for Pay Increases Based on PerformanceLong-Term Career Growth OpportunitiesWhy Join Us?Poly-Cam is a second-generation, family-owned company that genuinely values its employees.
