We are hiring immediately for a Machine Operator in Cedar Rapids.Available shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm / Climate ControlledIncentives:Pay RateMin = $28.94 3 Months = $29.35 6 Months = $29.87 9 Months = $ Months = $30.88Job DescriptionSets up and operates a variety of manual equipment that a machinist would use. The equipment that the successful candidate will use includes the following: manual vertical mill, drill press, radial drill, hone, and Blanchard grinder. The person is responsible to use this equipment to machine parts to specifications. The candidate will observe machine operations and verifies accuracy of machine work pieces by use of a variety of precision measurement tools.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required2-year A.A.S.
