Job description
Machine Operator IPrimary duties may include, but are not limited to:Load production files and prepare machines for operation according to instructions.Assist in setting up and adjusting equipment for daily production runs.Monitor machine performance and report any issues or irregularities to supervisors.Perform basic visual inspections to ensure product quality and consistency.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.Replenish materials and consumables needed for machine operation.Work collaboratively with other operators and team members to meet production targets.Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.Document basic production data and support continuous improvement efforts.Performs other duties as assigned.Essential Mental and Physical Functions:Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive motion throughout the shiftUse of fine motor skills and visual acuity for inspecting components and operating machineryAbility to operate a computer, mouse, and basic input devicesMust be able to respond to visual and auditory machine indicatorsWork Environment:Work is performed indoors in a manufacturing settingExposure to loud noise, dust, and chemical fumesRequired to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, masks, gloves, and steel-toed bootsThis position is designated as a safety-sensitive role and is subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testingCompliance with all company safety and operational policies is mandatoryDisclaimer:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
