Now Hiring: Machine Operators – Local Lettuce Production PlantLocation: Waco, TX Schedule: Multiple shifts available | Full-Time Pay: DOE – Competitive hourly rate + weekly pay Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-HireA fast-growing local lettuce production facility is seeking dependable and safety-focused Machine Operators to join their harvesting, packaging, and processing teams. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, consistent schedules, and long-term career growth in a clean, climate-controlled environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate, monitor, and troubleshoot various production and packaging machinerySet up machines for daily production runsEnsure accurate cutting, washing, mixing, or packaging of fresh lettuce productsPerform quality checks on products to meet company standardsAdjust machine settings as needed to maintain production efficiencyComplete required documentation for production, quality, and safety logsAssist with sanitation and changeovers between product runsFollow all food safety, GMP, and plant safety protocolsRequirementsPrevious machine operator, production, or manufacturing experience preferredAbility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced food production environmentComfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow written proceduresDependable attendance and reliable transportationMust pass background check and drug screen (client specific)Ideal CandidatesEnjoy hands-on mechanical workHave experience in food production or agriculture processingThrive in team-oriented environmentsAre safety-conscious and quality-drivenWhy Work With Us?Weekly pay through Express Employment ProfessionalsTemp-to-Hire opportunity with long-term growthClimate-controlled facilityStable hours and potential overtimeSupportive onsite management
