Operator 2Shift: Night ShiftLocation: Kansas City, MOMar Petcare is looking for a Operator 2 to join our exciting Nutro business at one of our manufacturing plants located in Kansas City, Mo.As part of our overall total compensation package, Mars Petcare offers a competitive benefits package to all associates which includes: Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance, Short- & Long-Term Disability, and 401k match. Operator 2's must always work safely. They will ensure efficiency, operational conformance, product quality and drive continuous improvement. Operator 2's are responsible for the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities. They need to be familiar with the manufacturing change-over process. Operator 2's must be flexible and have the ability to operate other equipment in the facility as needed. This job requires strong communication, Interpersonal, and team-building skills to support site objectives. Punctuality is a must.ResponsibilitiesOperating equipment to complete the conversion process and package the finished product prior to shipping to our customers.Conducting problem-solving and troubleshooting as necessary.Loading packaged material, clearing jams, resetting faults, conducting change-overs, quality checks, reporting issues, and maintaining area GMP's.Completing basic preventative maintenance work as assigned (CIL's)Ensuring quality & food safety procedural conformanceWearing required PPE and reporting any safety hazards immediatelyThe ability to communicate accurate and timely information using computer technology.Ability to work in a self-directed manner with a positive attitude.
