Machine OperatorPosition: Machine OperatorShifts: 1st shift, 2nd shift, 3rd shiftCompensation: $15-$18 per hour (based on shift)Job Summary:As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery in a manufacturing setting. Your main goal will be to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the machines, while also meeting production targets and maintaining quality standards.Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate machines according to specifications and production requirements- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to keep them in good working condition- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production processes- Keep accurate records of production and machine maintenance activitiesQualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment- Familiarity with machine maintenance and troubleshooting- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds- Excellent communication and teamwork skills- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as neededLocation: Madison Heights, MI
