Apply now!Wage: $18.00 - $19.00/hourShift: 1st, 2nd or 3rdHours: 6:00am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm or 10:00pm - 6:00amMachine Operator Responsibilities:- Understand and comply with safety rules and regulations - Load and unload parts onto and off of conveyor belts that lead to and from furnaces - Inspect parts for quality of product - Sort parts for packing using appropriate equipment and procedures - Package parts using appropriate equipment and procedures - Complete required paperwork - Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness according to 5S standards - Attend meetings and training sessions when necessary - Actively participate in continual improvement efforts as they relate to quality, safety, 5S, environment, and production efficiencyRequirements for Machine Operator:- Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs - Able to stand 10+ hours a shift - Able to twist, bend, and lift as needed - Able to withstand hot temperatures at all times - Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills - Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of accuracy - Previous machining experience preferred - Able to read, write, and verbally communicate in EnglishIND043 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
