Machine Operator IILocation: Marlborough, MAOnsite Flexibility: OnsiteContract Details:Position Type: ContractContract Duration: 5 monthsPay Rate: $22.00 / Hour (USD)Shift / Schedule: 2nd Shift — Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM; potential overtime on FridaysWork Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Machine Operator will operate manufacturing equipment according to established specifications, standard operating procedures, and work instructions. An operator must demonstrate steady progress in learning all equipment and jobs in the assigned manufacturing area. He and/or she must also exhibit the ability to follow instructions of the supervisor while observing the quality of raw and finished goods before, during, and after production.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor functions of equipment and operate per documented procedures including maintaining operational logbooksProvide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures, when requiredAssist in Preventative Maintenance (PM) following proceduresSupport material handling as necessaryMaintain segregation of materials and lot and/or receiving numbersMaintain area in a clean and orderly conditionAdhere to and demonstrate compliance to all company and department standard operating procedures including but not limited to: GMP, device history record, hazard communication, and safety rulesUtilize written procedures and training to accomplish tasks noted aboveAccept full accountability for product qualityReport to supervisor or management unsolved problems encountered during the workdayMaintain complete and accurate records of work-in-process, component inventories, and relative documentationRequired SkillsStrong attention to detailPackaging/manufacturing backgroundExperience working in an FDA-regulated environmentPreferred SkillsTeam-oriented mindsetPositive attitudeAbility to adapt and pivot to changing prioritiesWork Environment / Physical RequirementsRole operates on a 4x10 schedule (Monday through Thursday)Candidates should be comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environmentPPE Requirements: Gloves, hair net, and safety glasses as neededBenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundImportant NotesOnsite interview requiredAbout the ClientThis client operates in the medical device manufacturing industry, producing diagnostic and treatment technology with a strong emphasis on women's health.
