Job description
Machine OperatorVolt has immediate openings for 1st and 2nd shift Machine Operators for a semiconductor manufacturer located in Colorado Springs, CO.As a Machine Operator you will:Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances – SPC chartsOperate traditional fab equipmentOperate tools needed to complete wafer processingFollow proper material handling guidelines; handle delicate materialsFollow proper cleanroom protocolsPerform first level maintenance troubleshooting and determine if maintenance intervention is neededInterface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management dailyAbility to troubleshoot tool errors and be able to make adjustments accordingly, while continuing to provide a quality productPerform first level engineering troubleshooting and dispositioning of lots/wafersAbility to perform needed actions to allow production to continue in a timely manner, without jeopardizing qualitySetup, operate, and troubleshoot assigned production equipment striving to achieve goals for quality, efficiency and productivity.Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship and communicate/collaborate on how to decrease or eliminateThe ideal candidate will have:Minimum of 6 months required, 3-5 years of machine operating experience or equivalent preferredHS Diploma or GED.Previous experience in manufacturing/cleanroom setting a plusMust be able to work compressed work shiftsStanding for 12 hour shiftLift up to 50lbsGood mechanical aptitude and vision/finger dexterityAttention to detailDay and Nights shift available!Day Shift: 7am-7pmNight Shift: 7pm-7amPay: $20.00/hr. (Day Shift) $23.00/hr.
