Job description
Machine OperatorLocation: Columbia, ILJob Type: Temp to HirePay: $19/hr+ (based on experience)Shifts Available:1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday to Thursday)2nd Shift: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM (Monday to Thursday)Requirements for the Machine Operator role:Set up, calibrate, operate, and monitor production machineryFill, seal, and package liquid products with accuracyPerform machine adjustments, changeovers, diagnose and basic troubleshootingConduct quality checks to ensure proper fill levels and product qualityUse hand tools and measuring instruments as neededMaintain production records and follow work instructionsLift to 50 lbs regularly (occasionally 100+ lbs with assistance)Qualifications for the Machine Operator role:At least 6 months machine operator experience requiredExperience in a production or manufacturing environmentAbility to follow instructions and maintain quality standardsComfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on roleStrong attention to detail and reliabilityPerks:Weekly payBonusesPTOOvertime opportunitiesGrowth potentialSafe and supportive work environmentJoin the SMS Staffing Team!
