If you have experience in extrusion manufacturing (plastic extrusion, wire & cable extrusion, profile extrusion, tubing extrusion, or related continuous-process production), we definitely want to hear from you. In this role, you will operate production equipment, support manufacturing processes, and ensure product quality in a clean, safety-focused environment. This is a night-shift, full-time manufacturing role—ideal for hands-on operators who thrive in extrusion line / production line settings and want long-term career growth.Competitive Pay – Earn $24–$26/hr plus a $2.00/hr night shift premiumWork-Life Balance – 12-hour 2-3-2 schedule gives you 14+ days off per monthPaid Training Program – 8–12 weeks of on-the-job, hands-on instructionStrong Benefits – Medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidaysFuture-Ready Perks – 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, volunteer time offCareer Advancement – Clear pathways to grow within manufacturing, production, and technical rolesAs an Operator, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality cable products by:Operating manufacturing machinery safely and efficientlyMonitoring and adjusting process settings (speed, temperature, tension, material feed) to support stable extrusion line performanceAssisting with start-ups, changeovers, and material changes (resin/compound) to meet production schedulesPerforming in-process measurements and visual inspections; identifying common extrusion defects (diameter/OD, surface marks, gels, voids) and escalating as neededPerforming quality checks and following standard work instructionsTroubleshooting basic machine issues and reporting equipment concernsMaintaining a clean, organized, and safe work areaAchieving production targets and supporting team goalsAccurately completing production documentation and system entriesHigh School Diploma or GED requiredBasic math and computer skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrior manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred, but not required—training providedPrior extrusion experience highly preferredWork performed primarily on the manufacturing floor; noise levels may be moderate to high; PPE requiredApproximately 80% hands-on production work and 20% clerical tasksRegular lifting up to 30 lbs; occasional lifting up to 45 lbsExposure to varying temperaturesMay require standing or sitting for prolonged periodsOccasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and coordinated hand/foot movementsReady to build something that matters?
