Machine Operator Training PositionAre you looking to build your manufacturing skills and start a career as a Machine Operator? This Temp-to-Hire Machine Operator Training Position is a great opportunity for candidates with production, warehouse, manufacturing, or machine operating experience who are ready to develop their skills.Multiple openings are available in Northlake and Melrose Park across three shifts. Training is provided Monday through Friday, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for steady work, competitive pay, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to become a permanent employee.Job Type: Temp-to-HireMachine Operator Training Position Duties:Train on setting up, operating, monitoring, and performing basic troubleshooting on production and packaging equipment.Monitor equipment and assist with upstream and downstream operations to keep the production line running efficiently.Follow production schedules, quality control, food safety, sanitation, allergen control, and changeover procedures.Clean and maintain machines and work areas before, during, and after production runs.Follow all safety, GMP, HACCP, and SQF procedures and immediately report food safety or quality concerns to a supervisor.Schedule:1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.Day Shift: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.2nd Shift: 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.Training Schedule: Monday through FridayFlexibility to work weekends and holidays may be required based on production needs.Pay: $17.50–$18.00 per hourMachine Operator Training Position Requirements:Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or similar work environment.Ability and willingness to learn machine operation, setup, and basic troubleshooting.Ability to stand for the entire shift and climb steps or ladders as needed.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced production environment.Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors and follow work instructions.Benefits offered by Verstela to temporary employees:MedicalDentalVisionShort Term DisabilityTerm Life and AD and DIdentity Theft ProtectionPrescription Plan401(K) Retirement Savings PlanBenefits offered by employer upon permanent hire:Healthcare coverage including medical, dental and vision401k PlanShort Term Disability available and Life InsurancePaid holidays, vacation and paid sick leaveLocation: Northlake and Melrose Park, ILInterested in this Machine Operator Training Position opportunity?
