As a Machine Operator, you will operate the loom in line with training to ensure correct procedures are adhered to such as, quality requirements.What We OfferPay of $15 to $20 per hourHealth benefits, including telehealth medical servicesPaid holidaysPaid vacationTemp-to-hire positionWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious weaving experienceMust have warehouse knowledgeAbility to work 12 hour rotating shift, including some weekendsAbility to follow company policies and proceduresAbility to lift up to 25 pounds throughout shiftAbility to push, pull, and bendAbility to stand for the entirety of the shiftWhat You'll Do as a Machine OperatorIdentify the correct yarn and ensure AF, MR and Lot numbers used in the fabric are entered clearly and accuratelyOperate the loom in line with training to ensure correct procedures are adhered to such as, quality requirements, roll doffing, general weaving, fabrics, operate looms as required by the Shift Lead/TechnicianAdopt a "clean as you go" attitude, use correct cleaning methods, such as cloths, cleaning agents etc. as instructedInform the supervisor if you have any doubts about the quality of the fabric you are producingInform the supervisor if there are any breakdowns on the loomRepair filling and warp stops, creel or tie-in fillings and inspecting fillings when case is allocated to the machineReplace Catch Selvage Spool and Leno SpoolsIdentify S & Z problems in Belting StylesUndertake any other activities that the Company may reasonably requestProcedure for Straps and Springs on Catch Selvage BobbinsPerform other tasks as assigned
