Production ManagerManagement Level: Class 3Work Shift: 2ND SHIFT (United States of America)This position is for team members currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.In this position you will:Be responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensure proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line.Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed and notify supervisor if machines require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.Learn new EIM System and use hand held scanners, as well as any other duties assigned.Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment which includes steel toed shoes, bump cap and hearing protection. (Team members are encouraged to dress appropriately before they arrive at their workstation).Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. necessary when dumping bags of spice.Must be willing and able to push/pull of 80 lb. film in cart to machine.The Team Member will use torso flexion of 0-45 degrees is noted while handling spice.The Team Member will use full bilateral extension of arms necessary.The Team Member will use bilateral full hand grasp when performing checks for code dates.The Team Member will stand at all times in all workstations.The Team Member will use of both hands simultaneously when performing this job.The Team Member will work in areas that could range between 38 and 50 degrees temperatures and at times conditions could be wet.Internal Qualifications At Time of Application:Have no more than 4 attendance points.Have had no suspensions within past 12 months.Have no more than 2 written warnings in the last 12 months.Have no lateral, downward, or self-disqualification unless for higher classification for the past 6 months.New TM's still in 30 days of probationary period are not eligible to bid.Probationary TM's bidding after their first 30 days, must have no more than 2 points.Relocation Assistance Eligible: NoReferral Payout Eligible: NoHourly Applicants ONLY - You must complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.We provide our team members and their families with paid time off; 401(k) plans; affordable health, life, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; and more.Tyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
