Machine OperatorWe are looking for a dependable Machine Operator to help fabricate steel parts in a fast-paced production environment. This position involves operating cutting and fabrication equipment, reading work orders and blueprints, inspecting parts for quality, and supporting production goals while working safely as part of a team.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Machine Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 17.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)Operate production machinery and fabrication equipmentRead and follow work orders, blueprints, and production schedulesMeasure, cut, position, and secure steel parts and assembliesPerform basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standardsUse measuring tools such as calipers, rulers, squares, and templates Identify equipment issues and report maintenance needsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaMachine Operator Qualifications:Experience operating manufacturing or fabrication equipment preferredAbility to read basic blueprints and measurementsBasic welding experience is helpfulBasic math and measurement skills Ability to work in a team environmentDependable attendance and strong work ethicForklift experience is a plusStand for extended periods throughout the shiftFrequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pullingRegular lifting of materials up to 45 lbs Occasional lifting of heavier materials up to 90+ lbsApplicant may be subject to a background check*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
