Roll Operator/Machine Operator (DAVI Plate Roll)
Norwood MN | $25-$30/Hour | Flexible Start Time | Immediate Opening
We are seeking an experienced Roll Operator to join a growing fabrication team in Glencoe, MN. This position is responsible for operating a DAVI Plate Roll and forming heavy carbon steel plate into cylinders and custom fabricated components.

* $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
* 1st Shift
* Flexible start time between 5:00 AM and 8:00 AM
* Full-time, long-term opportunity
* Overtime available
Responsibilities
* Set up and operate a DAVI Plate Roll machine
* Roll carbon steel plate into cylinders and curved components
* Work with material thicknesses ranging from 14 gauge to 1-inch plate
* Manufacture 8-foot, 10-foot, and 14-foot cylinders
* Adjust machine settings to meet print specifications and tolerances
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
* Perform material preparation including grinding, beveling, fitting, and edge preparation
* Inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy
* Safely move and handle large steel components
* Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and organized
Qualifications
* Experience operating a DAVI Plate Roll or similar plate rolling equipment
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
* Experience working with carbon steel plate and heavy fabrication materials
* Knowledge of manufacturing tolerances and quality requirements
* Ability to safely lift, move, and position large steel components
* Strong attention to detail and safety

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norwood Young America, MN. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
