Job description
Bolt Division Machine OperatorOur client, in Rutland VT is seeking a Bolt division machine operator to join their team. As bolt division machine operator, you will be setting up, operating, trouble shooting, and maintain bolt making equipment.Bolt Division Machine Operator Shift 1: 7AM- 3PM - 4-12pm Starting pay range: $17.75- $18.75 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Conducts machine troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance • Able to read a micrometer and scale • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals • Must have, or be willing to obtain, a forklift license • Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules and Carris Reels safety program • Maintain clean and orderly work areas • Excellent attitude, communication, and team work skills • All other duties as required Education / Experience:Prior machine operation/manufacturing experience preferredGeneral knowledge of small hand tools.Forklift experience/license preferredHigh School Diploma or educational equivalent preferredMath skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividingEssential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Self-motivated and able to work independentlyAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situationsProficiency in reading a tape measureOccasional lifting may be requiredIf this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
