Job DescriptionNovoplex, where packaging innovation meets career opportunities!Thermoforming Machine Operator | Now Hiring | Santa Fe Springs, CACompensationCompetitive starting pay range of $20.45-$27.84 per hour, paid weeklyPay: Competitive starting pay rate based on experience and qualificationsBonuses: Eligible for a monthly bonus based on plant productivityAdd extra money to your paycheck by referring friends and familyShifts Available:1st: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm2nd: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm3rd: 10:00 pm – 6:30 amRotation schedule (rotating days off)*Must be available to work weekendsEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate thermoformer and packaging equipment at a rate that equals or exceeds quality and production standardsTroubleshoot routine process problems, and assist with tooling and product changeoversMaintain adequate supplies for all line equipment to ensure continual operationComplete required quality checks and production reports in an efficient and timely mannerFollow all standard operating procedures, safety standards and safe work practicesMaintain work area in an organized, safe and clean mannerProvide relief to other members of team as necessaryAble to perform packer functionsQualifications1+ year of experience as machine operator, preferably in the plastics manufacturing industrySuccessfully completed all training for machine operator associate positionDemonstrated abilities as a team player, good cooperation, and communication skillsMust be able to read, write, & understand basic EnglishMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs
