Job description
Manufacturing Equipment OperatorSet up and operate a variety of manufacturing equipmentRead and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and specificationsUse measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instrumentsInspect finished parts and components to ensure they meet quality standardsMake adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain production and qualityFollow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work areaWork efficiently in a fast-paced, high-production manufacturing environmentPerform other general manufacturing duties as neededExperience with any of the following equipment is a plus:CNC machines, laser equipment, press brakes, lathes, drill presses, bandsaws, forklifts, ironworkers, grinders, or other industrial manufacturing equipment.No experience with all of the equipment is required. We are willing to train someone who has a strong work ethic, is mechanically inclined, and is motivated to learn.Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to read and understand shop drawings or technical instructionsComfortable using basic measuring toolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityDependable and punctualSafety-conscious and able to follow workplace proceduresComfortable standing, walking, and working in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamWillingness to learn new equipment and processes
