Machine OperatorElwood Staffing is seeking a dedicated and efficient Machine Operator for a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment. Located in the North Vernon area.AAM designs, engineers, and manufactures systems and technologies that are making the next generation of vehicles smarter, lighter, safer and more efficient. AAM provides engine, transmission, driveline, and safety-critical components for light, commercial, and off-highway vehicles through their metal forming business unit.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Machine Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 17.51 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredVarious shifts availableOperate and monitor various production machinery according to established guidelines and safety protocols.Perform hands-on tasks including loading, unloading, and positioning materials.Maintain a brisk production pace to meet daily output targets and deadlines.Conduct routine quality checks on products to ensure compliance with specifications.Work effectively as part of a team, communicating any issues or concerns promptly.Be open and available to work substantial overtime hours as needed to support production demands.Machine Operator Qualifications:Previous hands-on manufacturing experience.Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English.Ability to consistently lift up to 45 lbs; comfort with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs is a plus.Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift.Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Must be okay working in a hot & dirty environmentMust be okay with rotating task as needed to meet production needsWillingness to work significant overtime.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
