Machine OperatorLocation: Seymour, ConnecticutSalary: $18.00 - $18.00Job Category: Light IndustrialJob Description: CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking experienced Machine Operator's for a Manufacturing Company within Seymour, CT. Train on 1st Shift: 6:30am-3pm. Normal Hours: 3pm-12am.Responsibilities: Efficiently operates all slitting equipment. Understands and follows printed work orders and work instructions. Verifies material identity and quality. Accurately records quality measurements and working time as required. Packages product per written instructions. Keeps work area clean and organized. Follows safety instructions. Recognizes and reports equipment problems to Maintenance Department. Works with fellow team members to maintain machine up time and productivity.Desired Background/Skills: Must be able to read, write and understand work orders and work instructions. Must be able to use and read measuring tools such as rulers to 1/8th inch, calipers & weighing scales (will train). High School or equivalent desired. Previous experience operating a slitting machine desired but not required. 2-4 years experience working in manufacturing/production.
