Job description
Machine OperatorSouth Haven, MICompensation IncludesStarting Pay Rate of $20.00/hour for day shift or $22.00/hr for night shiftNew Hire Incentive: $250 (paid at 60 days), $250 (paid at 90 days), and $250 (paid at 6 months)ResponsibilitiesLoad machines with rolls of paper, thread machines, and make splices as necessaryRemove coils of twisted paper from machines and stack on palletsMonitor machines while in operationAdjust clutch to maintain coil integrityVerify proper width and thickness of paperReporting defective or non-functioning test equipmentGauge dies to assure proper size according to production specificationsInitiate production recordsPerform quality tests and report any non-conformitiesLoad and set up machine to product specifications as requiredRemove slitted pads from machine and leveraging shaft and pads out of machineStack cut pads on pallet or deliver them to Spinners as necessaryUse and maneuver hand cartQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent3 years of factory experience is preferredMust have basic reading, math, and communication skillsEligible to work in the United StatesSuccessful completion of pre-employment background and drug screenAbility to work 12 hour daysWork overtime as neededSatisfactorily completes training courses as determined by managementAbility perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodationLifting and carrying a minimum of 60-70 lbs#INDQSRCompany BenefitsWhat You'll Get From UsBenefitsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
