Job description
Machine Operator – Production & PackagingSchedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pay: $17.00/hour This is a hands-on role involving equipment operation, packaging, quality checks, and general production duties.ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor production and packaging machinery.Set up equipment and make basic adjustments as needed.Package and inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.Follow production schedules and daily output requirements.Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.Follow GMP, food-safety, and workplace safety procedures.Complete basic production records and report equipment or quality issues.Assist with cleaning, changeovers, and other production tasks.QualificationsPrevious food manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or production experience preferred.Machine operation experience is a plus.Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.Forklift experience preferred but not required.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
