Machine Operator - Tower & Wind

Full Time Manual Labor Glenwillow, OH, US

Salary Range: $20.00 To $25.00 Annually

For over 80 years, Radix Wire & Cable, LLC, has been the leader in high-temperature wire and cable. We create innovative, high-temperature wire and cable products for the appliance, steel, chemical plant, aerospace, and commercial construction markets to satisfy their most technically challenging problems.

2nd Shift - Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm

3rd Shift - Sunday - Friday 10:00pm - 6:00am

This position is located in Glenwillow, Ohio.

Hourly Rates starting at $21.00 and up. Increase pay rate after 90 days. Plus Shift Differential Pay. Paid Weekly.

We are seeking a highly skilled Operator to join our team in Glenwillow. As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the extrusion machines to produce high-quality products. You will be expected to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues will be critical to ensuring the smooth operation of the production process. Your work will directly impact the quality of our products and the satisfaction of our customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent years of experience

Experience operating extrusion machines or similar equipment

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets

Basic Computer Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles

Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures

Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems

Ability to operate multiple machines and equipment

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain machines to produce high-quality products

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Monitor production process and troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise

Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production process

Skills:

As a Operator you will use your technical skills and attention to detail to operate and maintain machines. You will need to be able to read and interpret technical documents and schematics, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and perform routine maintenance on machines. Additionally, you will collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes and meet production targets. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of quality will be critical to your success in this role.

Shifts:

*Training may be on first shift which is Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm
