Build Your Future.Work Location: Van Buren, INShifts Available: Day Shift 4:30am - 4:45pm | Night Shift 4:30pm - 4:45am | 2-2-3 ScheduleStarting Hourly Pay: $21/hourWeaver Popcorn Manufacturing produces high-quality snack products enjoyed by customers across the country. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for dependable team members who share our commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.Whether you are beginning your manufacturing career or bringing previous production experience, you will receive the training and support needed to learn, grow, and succeed.As a Machine Operator, you will operate and monitor production and packaging equipment to ensure products are made safely, efficiently, and according to quality and food-safety standards.You will make equipment adjustments, complete required inspections, respond to minor production issues, and collaborate with your team to keep operations running smoothly.In this role, you will:Safely operate production and packaging equipmentMonitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustmentsInspect products and complete required quality and food-safety checksIdentify and troubleshoot minor equipment issuesMaintain accurate production and quality recordsFollow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation requirements, and safety proceduresKeep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safeCommunicate equipment status and production updates during shift handoffsWork with your team to meet daily production goalsIdentify and recommend improvements related to safety, quality, and efficiencyA typical day might include:At the beginning of your shift, you will review production goals, equipment conditions, and current priorities with your team.Throughout the day, you will operate and monitor equipment, inspect finished products, complete quality checks, make adjustments, and respond to changing production needs.You will also document production activity and communicate important information to the next shift.What we're looking for:We are looking for reliable, motivated individuals who are ready to learn and contribute to a team environment.You may be a strong fit for this position if you:Take pride in producing high-quality workEnjoy learning how equipment and production processes operateRemain attentive and focused in a fast-paced environmentCommunicate effectively and work well with othersMake safety a priority in everything you doAdapt well when production needs or priorities changeDemonstrate dependable attendance and a strong work ethicPrevious manufacturing or machine operation experience is helpful but not required. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.RequirementsQualifications:Must be able to read, write, and understand English to perform job duties effectively and safely.Preferred:High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment preferred.Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic troubleshooting.Ability to read and interpret production schedules, SOPs, and safety documents.Basic math and computer/data entry skills.Strong attention to detail, with focus on quality and accuracy.
