Machine OperatorWalton, KYCompensation IncludesStarting Pay Rate of $21.06/hourAdditional $1/hour shift differential pay for night shiftAvailable ShiftsDays: 7am - 7pmNights: 7pm - 7amResponsibilitiesOperate paper bag production equipment to produce grocery bags, retails bags, and specialty paper bag productsPerform routine inspections to ensure product quality standards for bag dimensions, print accuracy, glue application, and handle attachment are met; remove and report defectsSet up machinery and confirm materials, such as paper rolls, ink, adhesives, and packaging supplies, are prepared before production beginsRead and verify production orders to ensure accuracyMonitor equipment during operation and report any issues with jams, print defects, mechanical issues, etc. promptlyComplete daily production and quality documentationMaintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area, ensuring equipment and tools are stored safely and production waste is managed properlyFollow all safety policies and procedures to support a safe workplace for everyoneQualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or applicable work experienceAt least one year of experience in a manufacturing work environmentEligible to work in the United StatesSuccessful completion of pre-employment background and drug screenAbility to work 12 hour day and night rotating shiftWork overtime as requiredSatisfactorily completes training courses as determined by managementAbility perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodationPhysical RequirementsRequirements include, but are not limited to (all times are approximate):Sitting (1-2 hours)Standing (constantly - 12 hours or more)Walking (constantly 12 hours or more)Lifting (regularly/constantly):0-10 lbs.
