Job description
Machine OperatorOperate machines to produce parts according to specifications. Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Inspect parts and verify dimensions using measuring tools. Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and tolerances. Stack, organize, and prepare finished parts for the next process. Complete production and inventory documentation. Report quality issues and assist with troubleshooting. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Support other production areas as needed. Assist with training and mentoring new team members.Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and sockets. Ability to use measuring tools and verify part dimensions. Strong attention to detail and quality. Basic computer skills for production documentation and training.Experience with CNC equipment. Assembly or quality inspection experience. Ability to troubleshoot production issues. Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Cross-training experience and willingness to learn multiple processes.Team-focused work environment. Safety-first culture. Employees should be comfortable standing for extended periods, following safety procedures, and working in a fast-paced environment.This is a Contract position based out of Weaverville, NC. The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
