Machine Operator – Weekend ShiftMachine Operator – Weekend ShiftBrooklyn Park, MN 55428$25.50/hrFullTimeAugust 11, Job DescriptionAbout the Opportunity: • Job Title: Machine Operator • Pay Rate: $25.50/hr • Location: Brooklyn Park, MN • Schedule: Weekend Shift Friday-Sunday 5AM-5:30PM with mandatory overtime. • Training: 5AM-2:30PM M-TH and Friday 5AM-9AM. • Position Type: Temp to HireRequirements and Qualifications: • Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. • Strong math and measurement (including caliper use) and basic computer skills. • Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions. • Basic computer literacy for machine setup and adjustments. • A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly — this is physical work. • Comfortable with established machine processes on equipment like lasers, turret presses, punching and forming machines. • Mandatory overtime as needed, including Saturdays.Duties and Responsibilities: • Operate machines with consistency and attention to detail. • Perform quality checks using tools like calipers and gauges. • Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions. • Use basic computer programs for machine setup and mild programming. • Keep your area clean, organized, and safe. • Participate in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. • Cross-train in other roles to support team productivity. • Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals. • Follow all safety guidelines and contribute to a safe work culture.Discover Award Staffing: At Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheck—it should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.
