Job description
Machine OperatorWe are currently seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for the 2nd Shift. The role offers a competitive hourly rate plus a shift differential. The Machine Operator will be responsible for basic machine operations, including the safe movement of large steel pieces using a hoist. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and possess strong basic math skills, along with experience using a tape measure and calipers.ResponsibilitiesOperate machinery efficiently and safely.Move large steel pieces using a hoist.Perform quality checks using calipers and tape measures.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Follow all safety protocols and procedures.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of machine operating experience.Proficiency in basic math, including addition, subtraction, and converting fractions to decimals.Experience with blueprint reading.Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures.Why Work Here?Enjoy a work-life balance with a 4-day work week and 3-day weekends. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
