Press Operator And Kiln Operator PositionsA large, established manufacturer in Laurens County is hiring Press Operators and Kiln Operators for 1st shift. These are temp to hire positions with a company known for great benefits and a steady Monday through Friday day schedule.Press Operator: $15/hr Kiln Operator: $16/hr Schedule: 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm Placement: Temp to hireWhat You'll Do: Press OperatorSet up and run presses that form parts, following work instructions and specificationsLoad material into the press and make basic adjustments during production runsCheck formed parts for correct size, shape, and appearance, and catch defects before they move onTake basic measurements and perform routine quality checksKeep production counts and paperwork accurateHelp with changeovers, machine cleaning, and routine upkeepWhat You'll Do: Kiln OperatorSupport daily kiln operations to hit production targetsCheck that kilns are running at the correct setpoints and push ratesReview kiln logs for accuracy at shift changeConfirm kiln fans are running and belts are in good conditionMaintain kiln sand sealsPull unfired product from the drying room, then clean and trim it before firingLoad and unload batch kilns and furnacesWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 1 year machine operation experience, Kiln or Press experience highly preferredAbility to follow verbal and written instructions and established proceduresBasic math and measurement skillsMechanically inclined and comfortable working with machinery and hand toolsClose attention to part quality and detailConsistent attendance and a commitment to safety procedures and PPE requirementsTo apply for the Press Operator or Kiln Operator position, submit your resume in response to this ad or fill out an application at impactstaffing.com.Impact Staffing has been connecting Metro Atlanta job seekers with top manufacturing, distribution, and administrative employers for over 25 years.
