Machine Operator PositionA mid-sized, stable manufacturer in Winston-Salem is looking for some machine operators. As a machine operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, ensuring precision and quality in production. The company is locally owned, has been a model of stability in the area for years, and has good opportunities for growth. Applicants should have a solid work history and some mechanical aptitude.Duties- Operate and monitor various types of machines. - Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper functioning. - Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. - Use hand tools and other equipment as necessary to perform job duties. - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. - Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications.Qualifications- Basic math skills - Ability to use dial calipers, snap gages, and micrometers. - Prior manufacturing experience. - Ability to be on their feet for several hours. - Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role is preferred. - Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks. - Basic understanding of machining principles and techniques.HoursFirst shift: 7 am-3 pm Second shift: 3-11 pm Third shift: 11 pm-7 am Job Type: Full-time Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceAbility to Commute:Winston-Salem, NC 27101 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Winston-Salem, NC 27101: Relocate before starting work (Required)
