Machine PackersCenveo, a leading North American envelope manufacturer, is hiring Machine Packers for our Williamsburg, PA facility. Responsible for packaging finished envelopes, inspecting products for quality, and preparing orders for shipment. Works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while following safety and production standards. Pay & Schedule $17.40/hr + shift premium $0.35/hr (when working nights). 2 days and 2 nights required: Day shift 7am - 7pm / Night shift 7pm - 7am. Mandatory overtime is required for 1-2 days during this busy season. Overtime may be required during busy season/based on business needs. Opportunity for promotion to Machine Adjuster following 90 days with pay up to $23.83/hour based on skills and performance.What You'll DoLoads paper onto automatic hand-fed/web envelope folding machines; pack finished product.Inspects quality of envelopes, labels cartons, reports variances to key personnel.Checks current production orders/schedules to determine daily production requirements.May be required to complete rework.Cleans up work area during/end of shift.Other duties as assigned/required.Job RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent.6 months of relevant work experience in a production environment.Quality inspection skills and ability to measure/read a ruler.Basic math, verbal/written communication, computer skills.Detail oriented, safety focused, and reliable.Consistent attendance and dependability are critical for this role.Physical RequirementsFrequent standing, bending, climbing, and reaching.Lift up to 55 lbs; manual dexterity required.Work around noise, machinery, inks, solvents, and glue.Ability to work in hot or cold conditions and stay alert around equipment.Able to keep pace with high-speed production for a full shift.Cenveo is an EEO Employer INDCVOP.
