This role is critical to ensuring our manufacturing operations remain safe, reliable, and efficient.Essential ResponsibilitiesAs a Machine Rebuild / Repair Technician, you will:Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation of heavy industrial machinery and machine tools.Interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, work orders, and technical instructions.Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.Test, disassemble, inspect, and replace worn or defective components.Complete scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.Assist with equipment installations, relocations, and modifications.Follow all company safety procedures and environmental guidelines, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal practices.QualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.Ability to read and interpret: electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, mechanical blueprints.Experience using hand tools and precision measuring equipment, including micrometers and calipers.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentThis position requires working in an industrial manufacturing environment. Candidates must be able to:Work in varying temperatures ranging from hot production areas to cooler environments.Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and work in awkward positions.Safely perform physically demanding maintenance work throughout the shift.Why Scot Forge?At Scot Forge, you're not just an employee—you become an employee-owner.
