Requirements
5+ years of experience in functional safety engineering (7–10+ preferred)
Strong hands‑on experience with Safety PLC systems and programming
Proven experience in safety circuit design, review, and validation
Experience conducting safety audits and compliance assessments
Functional Safety Certification (e.g., TÜV Functional Safety Engineer / FSE)
Strong understanding of:o ISO 13849-1
o ANSI B11
o OSHA standards
Education Requirements:Technical associate’s degree or higher in Engineering or related field
Functional Safety certification (FSE / TÜV) is required.
Nice to Have (Preferred Skills):
Experience with risk assessment tools
Knowledge of FMEA / FMEDA methodologies
Hands‑on experience with Safety PLC platforms such as:
