Machine Set-Up AssistantWe're seeking a motivated Machine Set-Up Assistant to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll be a key player in ensuring smooth production flow by preparing machines, supplying parts, and supporting operators across departments. This is a great opportunity for someone mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.Key Responsibilities:Supply production lines with the necessary parts to maintain a continuous workflowCross-train on various machines and departments to fill in as neededChange tooling and assist with machine setupPerform frequent quality checks and maintain accurate, traceable documentationInspect specifications and work orders for accuracyDiagnose issues and troubleshoot equipment as requiredCommunicate effectively with manufacturing staff and managementUse reasoning and sound judgment to solve problems on the floorMaintain a clean and organized workspaceFollow safety protocols and support improvement suggestionsWork with hand tools (wrenches, impact drivers, etc.) and possibly load machinerySupport team lifting of up to 100 lbsWalk the shop floor to check in with operators and follow up on tasksParticipate in additional duties and special projects as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMechanical aptitude and the ability to work with basic hand toolsAbility to read and interpret work orders and technical specsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAble to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm under pressureExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalWillingness to work overtime and adapt to a flexible scheduleCapable of performing repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periodsTeam player with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
