Job description
Full-Time Machine Shop OperatorJoin the Selux team as a Full-Time Machine Shop Operator and help build high-end architectural lighting products. This is a great opportunity to work in a manufacturing environment with excellent benefits.Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6am - 4:30 pmStarting Pay: $18-$20 per hourBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, paid time off, 401K + match and more.ResponsibilitiesOperate a variety of production equipment including sheet metal punching and forming machines, drilling, tapping, cutting, bending and sanding equipment.Operate saws, milling machines and other machinery to cut and prepare metal parts according to specifications.Collaborate with other departments to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.QualificationsPrefer machine shop experience and familiarity with manufacturing and power tools.Automotive, construction and other manufacturing relevant experience welcome.Metal fabrication a plus.High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to read and interpret blue prints and schematicsAbility to read, write and speak English fluently
