Job TitleESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide and promote a safe work environment throughout the entire facilitySupport and mentor team members by assigning and scheduling workProvide guidance in regards to inspection methods and verification of product qualityWork to improve quality systems by continually assessing customer product qualityFollow and implement procedures for corrective action and rejected partsDownload data, print charts and approve product for shipmentsPerform employee reviews, coaching conversations and encouragement to ensure all employees are supported and challenged to grow and develop within the organizationWork to establish best practices and standardize processes that positively impact employee performance and overall productionMonitor and improve safety, manufacturing efficiencies, and scrap through continuous improvement activitiesMaintain measurement systems to provide accurate information to all areas of the facilityInteract and communicate with facility leadership to ensure all information related to employees and business operations is known and understood in a timely mannerMonitor and verify inventory levelsParticipate in the interviewing and selection processWork with all necessary Alexandria Industries suppliers to ensure the "Best Value" to Alexandria Industries and its customersAssist with set ups, production, and trouble shootingOTHER JOB DUTIES: (Not considered essential to the job)Perform all other related assignments as required in a professional and cooperative manner.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High School diploma or equivalent degreeAssociates degree in Machine Tool Technology or related program preferredExperience: 1+ years of leadership experience preferred2+ years of CNC machining experienceOther required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to recognize safety concernsAbility to utilize the proper inspection and measurement equipmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong coordination and judgment skillsBasic math skillsExcellent blueprint reading skills with a good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancingAbility to take part in continuous education and trainingAbility to work outside of standard shift times when neededEQUIPMENT USEDOffice Equipment (computer, phone, printer, scanner, copier and fax machine)Measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measure, etc.)CNC EquipmentCMM EquipmentSawsForkliftsHand toolsLEADERSHIP EXPECTATIONS:Leaders at Alexandria Industries will support and promote the mission, vision and values of the organization.CORE VALUES:Leaders are expected to model the behaviors that guide our actions to support these core values.IntegrityFaithMutual RespectCommitment to ExcellenceEmployee Well-BeingCORPORATE ABSOLUTES:Leaders will also support, promote and implement our Corporate Absolutes throughout the organization.Alexandria Industries is committed to create a workplace that is safe, healthy and drives toward zero incidents.
