Machine Shop TechnicianRichard Manufacturing is a family-owned and operated government contracting company located in Ogden, Utah. As a growing manufacturer in the aerospace industry, we are committed to quality, precision, and continuous improvement. We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Machine Shop Technician to support our Machine Shop and Paint Department.This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced, growing environment. This position will support the Machine Shop, while also assisting with general paint duties and facilities maintenance as needed. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, willing to learn, and maintains a positive attitude while working through the challenges of a growing aerospace manufacturing environment. Experience is preferred, however, we also provide on the job training and continuing education opportunities.Posting Opens: March 9, 2026Posting Closes: Close of business, Friday, March 13, 2026Key ResponsibilitiesClean, degrease, sand, mask, prep, paint, and rivet parts and componentsPrepare surfaces and materials for paintingSet up, operate, clean, and maintain paint equipment and paint boothsWork safely in a paint booth and shop environment using proper PPEIdentify scrapped, damaged, or improperly kitted partsEnsure products meet or exceed job specifications and quality standardsUnderstand proper use of tools and correct tool settingsUtilize the tool crib system appropriatelyAccurately charge labor and rework hours to the correct jobsMaintain up-to-date inspection records, travelers, and related documentationAssist with general shop upkeep and facility maintenance tasksSupport a clean, safe, and organized work environmentOther duties as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPositive attitude and self-motivatedAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented with strong follow-throughTakes pride in quality workmanshipAdaptable
