Machine Shop TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Shop Technician to join our team in Salisbury, United States. As a Machine Shop Technician, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, operating various manufacturing machines, tools and test equipment to produce high-quality parts and components.Responsibilities include:Set up, operate, and maintain the following manufacturing machines and tools as well as test equipment:Milling, Drilling and Routing on LPKF RouterDicing/Chip SawSoldering IronLaser Printer and WelderGross Leak ChamberPortable Leak DetectorExperience using Circuit Cam and Boardmaster software for designRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to produce parts to specificationUse precision measuring instruments to ensure product quality and accuracyPerform regular quality checks and maintain detailed records of production activitiesMonitor machine performance and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisorsAdhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work areaCollaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiencyAssist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they ariseParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processesQualifications include:Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a machine shop environment with proficiency in using machines and tools such as:Milling, Drilling and Routing on LPKF RouterDicing/Chip SawSoldering IronLaser Printer and WelderGross Leak ChamberPortable Leak DetectorExperience with Circuit CAM and BoardmasterStrong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience with precision measurement tools and quality control proceduresKnowledge of manufacturing processes and metal fabrication techniquesAttention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasksExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsWillingness to work flexible shifts as neededMust be US Citizen or Permanent Resident to meet ITAR RequirementsAdditional Information:All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.We believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
