These values are the cornerstone of Plastic Ingenuity.The Machine Technician is responsible for machine set up, machine repair and uniform and consistent machine operation. The Machine Technician Trainee or Machine Tech 1 performs similar duties within a developmental role. All work is performed in a climate-controlled environment.Personality and Interest Profile - You may enjoy this role if you:Enjoy using mechanical troubleshooting skillsUnderstand the needs of the customers and how a quality part is defined by themAccountable for:Assist in ensuring that the output of our process is a quality partReview part quality with Inspector Packers to learn if part is within acceptable standardsAdjust machine settings as necessary to ensure parts are within acceptable standardsReceive ongoing training in machine set up and operationPerform duties of inspector packer when requiredFollow good manufacturing practices to ensure product safetyComplete production records as neededDesired Qualifications:High school education or equivalentPrevious manufacturing experienceAttention to detailDesire for continual learning and personal developmentMechanical aptitudePhysical Demands:Frequent lifting of 15-25 lbs /Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs /More than 50 lbs requires a team liftFrequent repetitious tasks with upper extremitiesProlonged periods of standing on concrete floorAbility to correctly wear/use personal protective equipment including long sleeves as requiredFrequent climbing steps and/or ladders while working on elevated platformsWork involves exposure to high temperatures2nd Shift: Mon - Fri 2:15 PM-10:30 pm3rd Shift: Sun - Thurs 10:30 pm - 6:30 amPlastic Ingenuity is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
