Machine Tech I (Operator)Join Litehouse as a Machine Tech I (Operator)!Location: Sandpoint, Idaho Shift: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm Starting Pay: $18.77/hrThe Machine Technician I operates a minimum of one production machine in an area or department and performs basic preventative machine maintenance and troubleshooting.About Litehouse FoodsLitehouse started in the Hope, Idaho restaurant of the Hawkins family 60 years ago. We keep a strong commitment to our employees and the communities in which we operate.Great People Deserve Great Benefits!401(k) + 401(k) MatchingDental, Health, Vision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time Off + Additional Personal DayBiweekly pay8 Paid HolidaysPaid sick time after 6 monthsShift DifferentialsCareer advancement opportunities and recognition programsWhat You'll DoOperate and lead key machinery, striving for efficient output of quality products.Set up, operate and adjust machinery.Perform changeovers and washes that meet or exceed specifications.May be responsible for breaking co-workers.Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor.Ensure products produced meet customer and quality requirements.Perform basic maintenance/controls, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.Maintains clean work area and participates in housekeep throughout the facility and grounds.What You BringHigh School Diploma/GED Strongly Preferred.Mechanically inclined preferred.Fully trained and experienced in the operation of one production machine as defined at each plant and/or equivalent work experience.Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas professionally, effectively and efficiently in the common language.Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.Ability to multi-task, focus and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to frequently work overtime and weekends as necessary.Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements.At Litehouse, we don't just make great products-we build great teams.
