Machining OperatorResponsibilitiesEffectively operate and maintain three machines in any one class of machines (Screw, Rotary, or Davenport) at 80% productivityMake tool changes and adjustments on machines in any one class of machines (Screw, Rotary, or Davenport) and perform quick change tooling on machines in another classComplete independent measurements using micrometers, comparators and calipersComplete regular preventative maintenance on machines, including changing collets, checking stops and setting feed fingersPerform basic troubleshooting when machine problems occur as well as assist with identifying needed repairsPull shift tickets and assist with cycle countsResponsible for crane operationPreset basic tooling for production machinesMaintain accurate record keepingMaintain clean and orderly work area and tool zonePerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent is requiredMinimum of 1 year of experience operating and maintaining automatic machinesMust be able to read and understand blue prints, as well as linear and diametrical dimensioningDemonstrated mechanical aptitude as well as the ability to use measuring instruments and gauges accuratelyAbility to read and understand procedures, work instructions and other production documentationMust have basic math skills (adding, subtraction, multiplication and division)Must become lock-out tag-out certified within 1 yearAble to lift and carry up to 50 lb loadNo write-ups as outlined in the Job Opportunity policyCan not have less than 17 hours of unpaid time under the attendance policyNo disciplinary write-ups in the last 6 monthsDemonstrated positive work history through performance reviewsMust be able to pass applicable assessmentsFortune Brands Innovations is an industry-leading home, security and digital products company with a portfolio of trusted brands, including Moen, House of Rohl, Therma-Tru, Larson, Master Lock, Yale residential, and Sentry Safe.We are building a company that is determined to win, and we are clear about how: strong brands, great people, and disciplined execution.You'll join a team that puts customers first, keeps its commitments, and cuts through complexity to deliver meaningful results.If you're looking for an opportunity to make an impact and help shape what's next for our iconic brands, we'd love to meet you. Apply now.A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $52,050 USD - $59,488 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
