Machining OperatorFull-timeDepartment: ProductionJob DescriptionResponsibilitiesEffectively operate and maintain three machines in any one class of machines (Screw, Rotary, or Davenport) at 80% productivityMake tool changes and adjustments on machines in any one class of machines (Screw, Rotary, or Davenport) and perform quick change tooling on machines in another classComplete independent measurements using micrometers, comparators and calipersComplete regular preventative maintenance on machines, including changing collets, checking stops and setting feed fingersPerform basic troubleshooting when machine problems occur as well as assist with identifying needed repairsPull shift tickets and assist with cycle countsResponsible for crane operationPreset basic tooling for production machinesMaintain accurate record keepingMaintain clean and orderly work area and tool zonePerform other duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $52,050 USD - $59,488 USD.
