Machinist I - Lyman, Nebraska
Location: Lyman, NE (Onsite)

Are you a skilled machinist looking to join a growing manufacturing team? We are seeking a Machinist I to manufacture precision parts according to company and customer specifications while maintaining a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safety.
Job Summary
The Machinist I is responsible for producing quality parts in an accurate and timely manner using manual machining equipment. This position works with minimal supervision to perform machining operations while ensuring all work meets established specifications and standards.
Essential Responsibilities
Operate various manual machine centers with minimal supervision.
Perform progressive machining operations according to work instructions and specifications.
Manufacture parts that meet customer and company quality standards.
Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
Inspect completed work to verify accuracy and conformance to specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum of 1 year of machining or related manufacturing experience.
Ability to use measuring tools and inspect finished parts.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Preferred:
Associate Degree in Machining Technology or a related field.
2+ years of machining experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
This position is classified as Medium Work and may require:
Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Frequent reaching, handling, grasping, and working with hands and fingers.
Frequent close-up vision and depth perception.
Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and bending.
Occasional hearing and color recognition requirements.
Ability to stand and move throughout the shift.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
