Onto Innovation strives to optimize customers' critical path of progress by making them smarter, faster and more efficient.Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a CNC Machinist to support manufacturing and development of measurement equipment for the Semiconductor and Photovoltaic industries.The position will be based in Semilab SDI, Tampa, FL. Machinist will report to the Machine Shop Supervisor, who will oversee specific tasks and work schedule.QualificationsPrevious machine shop experience.The position requires excellent communication skills in verbal and written English. Requires a highly self-motivated individual with an eagerness to learn the machinist trade and to take initiative in both solo and teamwork environments.The candidate should have the ability to work under pressure and tight timelines, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-discipline environment, as well as possess strong problem solving abilities.Additional Qualifications and Areas of Responsibilities shall include but are not limited to:Running machine operations on a vertical mill and/or latheExperience with conversational programming and Acu-Rite controlsManual Machining backgroundMust have own toolsDeburring, sanding and cleaning of machined parts.Running the machine shop chop saw, grinder and band sawFixing and creating parts with only verbal instructionsAbility to learn and work on the flyPreparing parts for coating operationBasic math and Geometry skillsAbility to lift 50lbsWorks well with othersJob Type: Full-timeExperience:Machining: 7-10 years (Required)Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeWeekends as neededEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: In personWhy Join Onto Innovation?At Onto Innovation, we believe your work should matter—and so should your well-being.
